Keeping up with tradition, the Village of Mamaroneck’s All-Volunteer Fire Department will be hosting its 75th Annual Firemen’s Carnival at Harbor Island Park in the evenings from Tuesday, June 27th through Wednesday, July 5th. The Carnival runs nightly with an official start time of 7 pm; however, you may see the rides running a little earlier on some evenings. Pay-one-price Wristbands for rides can be purchased for $30 a person every night at the ride ticket booth except for July 4th. Other options for ride tickets are available as well.

Along with carnival games and rides operated by Ace Amusement Corp., the festivities will include food vendors to satisfy most cravings including its famous pizza fritta and fried Oreos. Plenty of beverages are on sale for those warm summer nights. You may even want to try your hand at dunking an organization member in the dunk tank.

In addition, the Fire Department will host a large parade on Wednesday, June 28th complete with riveting marching bands and fire apparatus from all over Westchester County and beyond. The Village of Mamaroneck will sponsor the Annual Fourth of July Fireworks Show that occurs during the Carnival on July 4th around 9:15 pm (rain date July 5th).

This fundraiser is a major effort by the volunteer firefighters to raise funds for the now 139 year-old all-volunteer Fire Department and some of its charitable endeavors. Money raised is used by the Department for many donations, scholarships, and sports-team sponsorships.

We hope to see you there!
